QUALICOAT UK & Ireland Appoints New Secretariat
QUALICOAT UK & Ireland has appointed the Council for Aluminium in Building (CAB) as its new secretariat, effective 1 November 2026, transferring from The Aluminium Federation (ALFED).
This is a strategic move which will better align the quality label organisation with the architectural and building industries, helping to strengthen engagement with key stakeholders and enhance services and benefits for its members.
QUALICOAT UK & Ireland Chair, Chris Mansfield, said:
“We are pleased to welcome the Council for Aluminium Building as our new secretariat. This appointment marks an important step forward for QUALICOAT UK & Ireland. CAB’s expertise and industry connections will enable growth supporting the long-term development of the association, and enhance the value we deliver to our members, many of whom share membership across both organisations.
“Together, we can build on our shared commitment to quality, strengthen collaboration across the industry, and continue to set the standard for aluminium finishing in the built environment.”
CAB will assume responsibility for the day-to-day administration of the organisation. The transition will be completed later this year with minimal disruption and no anticipated impact on services for QUALICOAT members.
QUALICOAT UK & Ireland will continue to have a working relationship with ALFED and wishes to extend sincere thanks for its valued support and services as secretariat over the past 12 years.
Further information will be shared in due course.
