Kawneer systems helped a new £26 million, 8,100m2 hub building meet its university’s aspirations for a project of the “highest technical quality”. In addition, Kawneer produced some new bespoke 300mm deep vertical and horizontal fin profiles in bronze, silver and Regency gold finishes to create deep window reveals and control solar gain on the first floor. The Kawneer systems were installed to a BREEAM “Excellent” design by the architect.
